Pastors and Elders

We are lead by a team of Elders who function as equals.  No Elder has authority alone but only as a group of men called by God to serve in this way.  Our pastors are vocational elders who serve on our team with the other elders.

  • Ben Forbes, Lead Pastor

His primary ministry, however, is at home, where he and his wife Shawna have five children: Megan, Samantha, Jacob, Timothy, and Elizabeth. Ben is also working toward a master’s degree at Dallas Theological Seminary and would appreciate your prayers as he balances his responsibilities.

  • Chris Moore, Worship Pastor

Chris has been serving on staff at since 2002.  He is a Metroplex native who graduated from South Grand Prairie High School. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Philosophy from Dallas Baptist University, and he attended Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth. He has served in ministry at churches in Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Alvarado. Chris and his wife, Tammy, have been married since 1994 and have two sons, Tristan and Phineas.
